Alpha clones - Good
5mil sp limit - Good
Tech 2 ships limit - Good

Racial skills training limit - BAD

Make it 5mil sp limit with no access to tech 2, BUT you are free to train whatever you want.

Thanks

PS: do it now, if possible tonight.

If you give a mouse a cookie...

I was waiting to see how quickly someone would start to complain about a new, free feature. Absolutely not. You want to train anything you want? Pay $15/mo. That costs next to nothing.

So wait... Limit it to 5 mil SP, but in theory a new player could waste a bunch of that training ship skills and not have enough left to train the necessary mod skills? That seems like a really good way to screw over a new player.

Plus, you give alphas access to some rather poweful ships without the skills to really use them well. This seems like giving alphas an exercise in futility instead of a way to entice them.

Yep, training one race ships, weapons gives them a nice foundation to start with.

Yep, that's the modern (1st) world for you. Give someone something for free and it won't be long before they are asking for more. Like the comedian Louis C.K. said, "oh how quickly the world owes me something". Big smile

Seems like a great motivation to encourage that player to subscribe to the game

Yeah that would be great, free scouts, cyno alts, Mining barge miners etc...

No one would ever bother to pay for any more than 1 account, CCP revenues would plummet.

The CSM gets in the way of CCP communicating properly with the players of this game.

After all we are not just players, we are customers.

Time for the CSM to be disbanded.

Except you also enable broken state where you trained for a T1 logistic cruiser but can't train the skill to use remote reppers because you capped. How much of your 5 mill cap is eaten by racial cruiser V anyway?

No, you're not getting pirate frigs and cruisers as an alpha.

Get over it. Move on.

But you have only 5 mil SP and you want to spread it into even more skills for new players

They can't limit it to 5 million and allocate at the same time.

I have Frigate, Cruiser and Battleship 5 on all 4 races, as well as the respective Gunnery. How do they assign me Alpha clone and not inflate my white grid SP?

I'm sitting on 98% Amarr assets but I do understand why they had to line up the Alpha clone SP system the way they did.

So subscribe if you want to train a racial cruiser to V.

I too believe that being able to literally have a free cloaky cyno entosis alt in every system in EVE could not possibly have any bad effects.

I thought the race restrictions where fine, it makes races more meaningful to play as, however its being limited to cruisers that I thought was kind of a downer, they should of given you battlecruisers at least so you can do all the high sec content.

Why should you be allowed to do all of high sec content as a free player? It's limited just like all the other content in the game.

Wormholer for life.
