Issues, Workarounds & Localization

Hi,

I just started playing EVE and it seems I already broke something. The tutorial told me to pick up the survivors, but I already put the scientist on my ship before the game asked me to.
Now the game wants me to rescue the scientist, but he isn't in the wreckage anymore, but on board of my ship already. I can't put the scientist back into the wreckage, so there is no way for me to progress past this point.
I would rather not make a new character because of this, since i actually put effort into the character creation.

Is there any way to skip the tutorial? Any chance of this problem being fixed in the next few days? (Not trying to sound entitled, just don't know about the update frequency in this game).

Looks like the tutorial progress reset itself after downloading a patch. I was able to replay the tutorial from scratch, but I still had the survivors from my first try in my inventory. I bet that guy was pretty confused when he asked me to save 3 people and I showed up with 6...
