This is how I'd like to see the character sheet. The focus of this window is on the CHARACTER, of which the display pic and 3D models should be included.

I hear ya!

Only very few people actually notice when I change my outfit for the season or my hairstyle. No objections from me here.

There is no point in any of the vanity items that go below the neck. Roll

I agree that this would be a better solution for the reason that it would make people care about their character's appearance a bit more ... and maybe even CCP because right now many clothes (vanity clothing like Upwell stuff, Outlaw, Blood Raider and so on) look really mushy in the full body view.

How about NO, I simply do not care about your full body portrait and I prefer to have that screen space used for other things.

Bitter vet thing, no I simply do not want MY screen space wasted on useless eye candy.

What do you mean? Do you want other players to see your character sheet? Or do you like to see 3d models with player info , instead of the basic picture?

Anyways, I like your idea to see a 3d model with my character sheet.
However, downloading all the 3d models from other players does take some time. Not sure if I like that.

Like it or not we are currently playing a game that contains outfits and even ship skins.

The main reason people will bother getting either of those in quantities larger then zero, is if they are occasionally reminded in some way that they have those things "equipped".

In the case of ships, it's hard not to notice them when you are constantly zooming in space, but outfits need a lot of button presses.

It makes perfect sense that "full view" should be an option - again, "option" - as in you can flick it on or off.

I will defend to the death your right not to have stuff just pushed into your face without consent, but at the same time, CCP set the precedent, now they should expand a bit on it, especially when some of us need a way to create group photos of the "avatars" and ships to post on say, social media, to try and rack in more Alpha/Omega players.

Telling current generation MMO players "you can spend an hour in the character editor making gorgeous people, but don't bother, you'll never really see them" is kinda of dumb.

I apparently have no idea what I'm doing.

Oh sorry, I think this sentence got misconstrued.

No, my idea was simply to have the 3D model attached to the players own character sheet, pop-out-able like skins in the fitting window. But 3D models of other characters could still be viewed via the character information window portrait, as they currently are. (as long as CCP doesn't change that also)


That sentence was more taken from the thought that CCP seems to be trying to wipe out the 'characters' from Eve :( rip CQ
