Email verification required

What is this, and why do i have to suffer through yet another useless "security" feature that i didnt even ask for? How do i get past this, when CCP insists sending the verification email (that i again have to point out, that i didnt ask for) to an email i created my account with like 10 years ago, which by now doesnt even exist anymore?

And yes i have changed the email since. I have 3 accounts, 2 still works.

All this security is stupid and useless, i´d play without password if i could.

I am waiting for an email for 5 minutes now. Where is it? How is it being delivered? By pony express? The email address it is stating it is being sent to is valid and working. I just have not received it.

Is it being sent at all?. I hate when you make upgrades. They usually cause problems of one sort or another for me. They usually take a couple of days to clear so that I can play at all. You should pro-rate our subscriptions for us being blocked from playing

Been waiting for over 30 minutes for the verification E-Mail from one of my accounts.
The first account worked without any issues, second one I never got an E-Mail, both accounts use the same e-mail address

been about two hours waiting here.

my verification email was going to a hotmail.com address for one account and it didn't arrive.

the one sent to a gmail account worked fine.

I've whitelisted eveonline@service.ccpgames.com in the hotmail antispam filtering - still no joy.

I suspect that outlook.com (microsoft's infrastructure for hotmail) is either deep sixing emails or that the inbound connections from the ccpgames mail server is being throttled (which happens normally).

same problem here 2 accounts on same mail ,got one code one off them i got haven't seen the other yeat
have tryet sending ticket 3 times to ccp just got there standard reply 3 times ????
why wont it sent the other code for my acount ??????????

Microsoft is know to have a very tight spam filter, most of the time is very paranoiac, but i think that CCP also has some issues in sending out email due to the amount of email having to send out..., that, some times might be seen as spam by it self

because of that huge number of email gmail and yahoo also receives them slow

From quite a bit of users, seems the two services Yahoo and Hotmail are having trouble with codes being sent to verify.

These are both known for tight filters.

Gmail works though.

CCP better reimburse me for my game time. This is BS. I didn't ask for this. The fact that no one envisioned this **** show shows how narrow minded you are at CCP despite years of experience.

Same sort of things here; "Since you have enabled Two Factor verification we have sent you a verification code via email. Please enter the verification code"

I never enabled it, and I have nothing in my email box...

I cannot ever log into my accounts via the web.

Nope, Im having my issues on gmail. Pretty sure its the sending side not the receive

Same here .. on this account i have authenticator enabled , on the other account i don't .. i've been waiting for 1 hour now to receive the email , not an gmail or hotmail , but one provided by my ISP

I'm glad I'm not a CCP dev frantically dealing with this at 2:00 Iceland time. Or a CCP dev who didn't sleep during pre-release week either. Hang in there ye all-- please fix it too! Smile

Same here. I have multiple accounts linked to a email that doesn't exist anymore, and now I have no way to login.

No idea how to log in. The e-mail verification went to an e-mail thta filters out the e-mails as spam before it ge ts to my client. Can't even log in to change e-mail settings.

13 hours of waiting for a response on this ticket. My other account's email was old and deleted, but I have since recreated it. Still not getting authentication or verification emails,. Refreshing the ticket every few hours to see if anyone responded... still nothing and no expectation of when this might be resolved.

Have the exact same issue, my second account which I ve had subscribed for about 8 years had an old email address linked to it, tried to change it before the upgrade but there was no option other to verify the email address it had....which I have no access to......

Have tried support (website timing out so I am guess I am not the only one) only to have a mass reply sent back to me advising me to contact support!!!

CCP you must have known there were many paying subscribers with unvalidated email address on your database what did you think was going to happen when your force users to validate through it????
