The huge expansion EVE Online: Ascension has been deployed on November 15 during an extended downtime. To report Mac specific issues or general feedback, please post in this thread.

WIth EVE Online: Ascension we get free access to EVE Online with the Clone States mechanics, new structures in form of Engineering Complexes to catapult industry game play to a new level, a full revamp of fleet boost mechanics, new mining boost mechanics, a fantastic new fitting simulation, revamp of the Rorqual, phenomena generators for Titans, mining NPCs, a completely overhauled new player experience "Inception", amazing graphic overhauls and a lot more!

This expansion is massive

i can't seem to enable the sound with the wine client. every time i try to click the checkbox to enable sound the client freezes.

First I would like to thank you all att CCP for an awesome game. I've been a proud Eve pilot on and off since 2003.06.10.

I have a couple of small issues with the Mac client.

I'm running Sierra with an Nvidia 980 graphics card using the Nvidia web drivers and I'm using an external usb sound card.

When I select the external sound card in the OS X control panel output I get no sound what so ever from Eve. The internal sound card works just fine though!

And I'm getting the following graphics error on all ships. (I think its the logotype on the ships that's bugging)

Sadly, time for the first Ascension related mac issues :(

No matter what, the launcher loads the wine window, and then wine will loop for ~5min before saying "Failed to connect to server on port 26000". Now I know my internet's working because I'm able to go on Netflix/Youtube right after this. But for whatever reason no amount of messing with firewalls or permissions, and doing clean installs has let me log back into this game :(

"Connection Failed.
Could not connect to the specified address. Odds are that u have not established an internet connection, the server isn't running, or the server address or port number was wrong."
Server: Tranquility.
Unable to connect to tranquility.servers.eveonline.com on port 26000

I'm having issues with the launcher on OSX 10.10.5 post-Ascension. In short, it keeps forgetting accounts, but with a twist.

Description: launcher forgets accounts if I add more than one account to it, and doesn't remember accounts status of being pinned.

Steps to reproduce:

a) update launcher (all accounts in are lost)
b) add one account to it
c) pin the account
d) restart launcher
e) account is there, but shown as not pinned
f) add one more account
g) pin both accounts
h) restart launchers
i) all accounts are now lost and have to be re-added.

Re-downloading launcher didn't help. I didn't try clearing all settings and profiles because that would require to re-setup all the stuff for 10+ characters. Any advice?

With the latest Launcher update to 1099590 it started to forget all accounts regardless of how many of them were added.

Like Yoshi Katelo, I did not have any sound, and also got the same client crash when clicking the enable audio box. I did have Razer Synapse but have removed it completely (plugins). Navigated to the other Library/Audio/Plugins/HAL and deleted it, working as intended...

I am not using the headset at the moment, certainly a strange bug.

I have an issue where the launcher graphics stay and block out my view. So I get all the chat windows and icons but can't see my ship or anything because the lovely ascension picture is blocking my screen. Sometimes it also has my pilot there too.

I'll try and recreate this tomorrow with logs and file a report but anyone got any ideas in the meantime?

And with update to 1104888 I've found out that if you add an account but don't pin it, the launcher remembers it. And if you pin the account, the launcher forgets it! Maybe the pin icon status is actually inversed? :S
