Launcher not detecting closed game

Firstly, apologies if this has been posted before.

I am having problems where sometimes (not always) the EVE launcher is not detecting when I have closed the game client and is therefore not giving me the option to launch the client again for that account. Because I am usually logged in with multiple accounts, this is causing me a few problems.

If I then close the launcher and try to open it up again, it will not launch because Steam detects that the EVE client is already open (my other already logged in toon) and won't load the launcher.

This means I have to close all open clients, just to load the launcher again... just so that I can switch toons.

I have to launch the non-Steam version, just so I can login. It's quite a pain and seems like a massive step back in functionality. Alternatively, can you not just finally give us an option to switch toons without having to close the client?

Thank you.

When this happens, could you check in the task manager if there exefile.exe is properly closing down? It may be that the game client is not shutting down properly even if the window has closed. If this is the case, as a workaround you could kill exefile.exe from the task manager.

In any case, we need more details on the issue so we have a better chance of figuring out what is going on. Please file a bug report, attaching logs from the launcher. Logs from the game, via LogLite, would also be helpful.

Could this be why I can get past the character select screen without getting a pop up window telling me to upgrade to omega to play more than one account at a time? Even when I am only trying to play one?
