I didn't really think I would ever come up with such a thread, but those whimpering kids are just hilarious.

So I thought it might be a good idea to show CCP how we - sane players - support them on their quest for universal justice and diversity. Diversity is awesome and we should welcome it with all our might!

The Drake is fine, leave it alone and allow the Caldari some pvp success for a little while longer.

I can fly about anything sub-cap these days so meh.. I understand some of the grief, it was about the best and prettiest caldari boat, and like many other boats before it, CCP gets around to nerfing it too.

This nerf is a long time coming, I was beginning to doubt it would ever be changed. I was pleasantly surprised. Smile

Try flying different Caldari ships for once: Merlin, Kestrel, Hookbill, Harpy, Caracal, Moa (yes, I said Moa), Cerberus, Falcon, Naga, Raven, Rokh.

They're not quite as "point and fire" as the Drake (Falcon being the exception), but neither are other races' ships. Plus, it's not as if the Drake will be unviable after the nerf.

Stop whining that your favorite toy is going to be just as special/powerful as the other battlecruisers. It's pathetic.

So can I, but shooting Drake, Drake, Cane, Drake, Drake, something-else, Cane and Drake again is (was) just getting brain-killing.

Drake is not fine nerf it within reason then buff all other Caldari Ships.

Drake will just be another good boat in the Caldari PvP Line which hopefully will include every one of their Ships.

Besides I can live with the "new" Drake and it's 80k Buffer Tank.

I had always thought the problem was the power of a tank that can deliver a respectable buffer with a high regeneration rate that requires no cap and also allows the ship using it to maintain good speed. We should feel a bit bad for the guys that were using the natural tank of it to run dual webs plus tackle and nano to have fun but at least this will put a dent in those silly noobs running the maximum tank that makes battleship tanks look weak. P
