Im trying to find out if fighter skills affect the fighters launched by a citadel.

sorry if this has been asked before, ive had a look but couldnt see it anywhere.

having recently made a citadel sitting char, I can tell you that you do not need the skills to use fighters.

need to get a skilled toon over to test if attributes are affected however.

further testing has revealed, the skills are not needed to launch / attack using citadel fighters, in fact - even if you have the skills maxed, you do not get any benefit to fighter damage / speed.

You do however, require the skills to 'load' them into the fighter bay. So once a skilled pilot has loaded your citadel with fighters, unskilled pilots can use them with identical stats.
