E-mail change in progress, not actually getting email to verify

Hello, with the recent changes needing email to be verified (even though I've been a paying customer for years), I've had to change several emails on my accounts to my gmail, since back in 08 I was using ....uh, em....yahoo. Which I no longer have access to.

But it's not working, I'll change the email, save changes, and then at the top it will say "E-mail change in progress," When I try to verify the new email, nothing happens. The message never comes.

Kind of getting nervous about it considering I won't be able to play in 5 days time with these changes, with an unverified email.


Any help would be super.

Disregard. From reading the forums I gleaned that it sends the verification to your OLD email, not the new one...

And after a lengthy process, I have access to the old one, so....good to go.

But seriously, maybe I'm just stupid, but a message clearly stating that the verification email will be sent to the current address on file, and not the one you are trying to change to, would be convenient. Because it's not that obvious.

Hi,

i had the same issue.

Contacted Account Support - got asked a few questions.

As they where sure that i was the correct owner of the account they changed the e-Mail-adress to the new one.

Just in case other players will have the same problem - Account Management Support will help you out very fast.

Go to https://support.eveonline.com and open a ticket.
