My first Dark Blood Fleet Staging Point - need advice

So, I just got an escalation to a Dark Blood Fleet Staging Point from a forsaken hub. I've never done any escalations before, so, I had a few questions:

1) Is it soloable in a T3 cruiser? If so, which one would be best and if anyone had a good fitting it would be much appreciated.

2) Can I just spank and tank? If, so how much dps would I need to tank?

3) About how long will it take to clear in said T3 cruiser?

4) Are they any tips/tricks I should know about?

When I lived in Delve, I ran it with a passive shield tanked Loki and a couple of Paladins. Use the Loki to soak up the towers and neutralizers and the Marauders to kill everything.

CCP should add more NPC 0.0 space to open it up and liven things up: the Stepping Stones project.
