When do patch notes usually come out?

I've looked through the alpha clone list and I've seen the update of the csm adding a few skills but is that going to be the final list of skills? Was hoping they would bump it up to t1 battlecruisers and t1 mining barges since all the subscribers have access to level 2 stuff anyway.

Also not seeing many battleships. Just cruisers. If no ones using them why not give them to alphas for something long term.

Patch notes are usually published the Friday before release. There will be a notice in the launcher and probably a notification in game when they are available.

To the best of my knowledge Alpha clones will be able to fly the Gnosis battlecruiser. http://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Gnosis
They have all required skills. They are in line with other |T1 battlecruisers - currently selling for 53 million isk in Jita.

They (I guess myself in this case) will, idk why anyone would though when they're more of a prize ship. Even if everyone's got one and they're abundant. I wouldn't want to lose one if I bought it. I only mention that cause they wanna do racial stuff and a generic t1 bc doesn't seem like overkill. They can always expand that in later too because I do t think there gonna get as many people making throw away alt accounts to buy high damage ships and tank with like they're afraid of. I've been mining in .5 and I only saw 1 catalyst try that and concord killed him before he got in range of me with his blasters.

Real simple. They want folks to get involved and interested enough to sub.

I'm in favor of giving alphas access to tech II modules, myself.
The issue with either is that the alphas are capped at 5m sp because of skill extractors. If you can present a well reasoned plan that details which skills you'd decrease, and why you'd choose them so you can add the access to larger ships, then I'm sure CCP would consider it.

TBH I'm not quite sure what an extractor is because that wasn't around in 2009 as far as I know. It's new fangled sorcery to me I have to learn about.
I've skimmed over some stuff on them and I've seen them and injectors mentioned here and there but off the top of my head my solution for that would simply be to not let alpha clones use extractors. Limiting sp seems like a round about way of accomplishing that when the more straightforward approach would to just lock alphas out of that until they go omega which would remove any hard sp cap outright in the event of trying to prevent alpha extractor useage.
(Although alternatively the exact same thing could be said about going omega if you want a bc or battleship or any tech 2 variants etc etc but i would assume in that case extractors would still be off the table anyway)

That aside I'm getting the vibe that 5m sp for a fully trained alpha account is a generous overestimation.
I bought a few skills already and I've been training my gunnery stuff up and from the list I've seen most of it is capped at 3and 4 and really most of my large modifier skills were already at 3-4 and won't go any higher anyway. I'm at 600-700k XP and I'm already
Done with the armor skills they will let me train, almost done with gunnery skills except for the actual gunnery skill to level 5 and maybe 2 more medium energy turret levels for cruisers. My capacitor skills were alreadybin the 3-4s really not much to do there. Can't do shield on amarr.

I really don't see where I'm gonna accrue 5m from realistically in the skill set they have. Maybe something will sneak up on me or there's a skill I overlooked and haven't purchased yet that has a big modifier but you can't really do anything in industry. Scanning is fairly limited. Science and implants will be largely unusable as far as I can tell and then there's mining and trade. I don't think there's much in trade that's allowed and mining is fairly straight forward. Maybe drones? But idk how far amarr can go in that.
Possibly spaceship command. Maybe they'll add up together and creep up on me but it just doesn't seem like I'm gonna hit near 5m at all.

With slight variation in the racial skill trees I don't think they're all going to come out to an even number anyway let alone 5m That seems like a high ball number but if theres a detailed total we can get when ascension goes live that might help.

So I don't think it would really be necessary at all to have to remove anything but you could take shield skills away from amarr for access to 1 level of battlecruisers or mining bargeif you had to. Off the top of my head I'm not sure if 3-4 level 1 shield skills equals one in either of those just saying. But I don't think it would hurt.

I'm not sure how t2 modules will work, there's a few skills there that would allow the use of t2 but I think that would confuse new players more if they found out they had access to certain t2s and not others. I'm not sure how that's gonna work. Iirc mining 4 is where you get miner II's from but I don't think alphas will actually have the ability to use them at all.
If ccp can block out entire use of t2 items I don't see why they couldn't block out use of an extractor off the bat and make that a non issue.

My original post is mostly curiosity tho. I'm trying to plan ahead which is why I jumped on for a trial and a bit of a head start on at least 1 character. I'm biomassing my other guy cause I messed up his face and typoed his name. There's a list and a post with a change to that list so i was hoping the patch notes would have a finalized list and I could buy anything I was missing.
The optimist in me just wants to reach for a little bit more and hope they would add some other stuff in thats inconsequentional when it seems people are only flying pirate or t2 stuff these days anyway. I wasn't legitimately asking for it even though I think it
will be/should be added at a later date possibly.

CCP have specifically stated the limit would be cruisers.

The Gnosis being a special-case exception.
