Ok so title misleading, i do not have the isk or the cash to pay for an app so this is more of a friendly suggestion.

But with the release of more CREST endpoints and scopes is there any apps and or apps in progress that is like the Eve Online Portal that

a) Works with windows - Such as laptop being used at school that can not play eve
b) Works with Kitkat not Android 5 :P

If anyone knows of anything let me know <3

So CREST is going to be faded out. I highly advised against any intentional programing strictly for CREST. They are going to rolling a lot of new EndPoints for ESI over the next few months.

With that said, once the mail endpoints are made public and are actually usable, despite the EVE Portal App, I highly expect some sort of mailing services to pop up that allow you to send a receive mail from a website that is mobile compatiable and/or a seperate app themselves.

I know i am going to be building a EVE Mail interface for my alliance.

Sorry forgot about CREST and ESI when I wrote this :P

If you make a decent mail interface, and you decide to open it up to all users let me know :)

Actually would something like a plugin for MS Outlook be make-able.

Not asking for you to do it, just curious in general xD

It would be possible. With the new ESI endpoints you can get and send mail. If you combine that with a mail server you can send and receive mail from a client. The mail server would receive eve mail every time your ESI endpoint is not cached anymore. And when sending mail you can forward it to EVE through the ESI endpoint. All that is left is logging into your mail client.

As for plugins specific to MS outlook I am not sure. But I figure it is possible if those plugins can handle the ESI endpoints and eve SSO.
