Removing ship fitting ability from mobile depots

Seriously, did that just happen? What's the point of even having mobile depots any more if they just going to be glorified containers? If anything, their functionality should be increased. More storage space, a turret/missile hardpoint for shooting rats with, a cynosural field generator for solo JF hauling... there are so many things a mobile depot should be able to do, and CCP decides to neuter the damned things? I'm just not understanding their logic here.

Whereabouts did you see this? The whole point of mobile depots was refitting. They don't really do anything else.

I just tried to use the refitting service and the right-click item is no longer there.

Used one yesterday and it was fine. Just to note, I don't use the right-click, I just open the fitting tool and refit from cargo. Also, make sure your doing this AFTER the MTU has completed its 1 minute deployment timer or otherwise the right click will show no fitting option. Is "Scoop to cargo" available?

"Tomahawks?"

"----in' A, right?"

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

"----, you pay me half that and I'll hump in some c4 and blow the ---- out of it my own damn self."

Oh wait, I see how it works. My MD was in reinforcement mode, guess the fitting service isn't available then. I scooped and redeployed to stop reinforcement and the fitting service is now available again.

My mistake.

Not unless my MTUs get a drone bay and enough drone control bandwidth and range for 5 heavy/sentry drones with a 60Km leash point.

They should also tractor supercapitals and keep them inside until they send the owner of the MTU an amount that can be set after anchoring said MTU.

You might want to re-calibrate that hair-trigger.

Maybe try posing a question like, "Did CCP change?", or "Why did CCP change?, rather than go directly into rant mode.

I'd settle for a faction MTU that could mount 5 salvage drones.

I shot a yellow yatch, and when a bowhead warped in the yatch turned into a vigilant with neutral logi support, wadya know?

Oh, I perfectly understand, Hal Morsh — a mission like this requires courage, skill, and heroism… qualities you are clearly lacking. Have you forgotten you're one of the bloody immortals!?

I tried to pop him in an oracle and haven't seen him since.
