Anyone who participates in, endorses, or enjoys ruining highsec incursions, and anyone who just wants to help sow a little chaos, this is for you.

It's time we engage in long-term manipulation of the incursion community. To that end, I have an assignment for anyone who has an incursion alt (I'm not here to judge, we all gotta make isk somehow): put them in a player corp and keep that corp under a wardec. Tell your fleetmates it's because of a dec shield, to raise the price of wardecs against your corp. All the cool kids are doing it these days.

It will be hard to get fleets at first, as you'll be rejected as the logis get warnings of you being at war. But the more often this is seen, the more it will be accepted. The key here is to NOT RUIN THIS. You get in the fleet, you run the incursion sites as normal, you get paid. We want it to become normal to accept at-war fleetmates. We want "dec shield" to become something all incursioners expect to see in fleet chat. This will probably take months of effort to achieve and depends on a lot of people cooperating and not messing it up, but if we do pull it off the rewards will be epic.

Where am I going with this? If you can't guess, I'm not going to tell you.

there were all kinds of ridiculous shenanigans when incursions first came out, going to a live event and looting everyone's wrecks until someone aggressed you and then having neutral rr there while you brawl them down was my personal favorite

Your Idea:
Make war-decs normal for incursion runners.
Incursion runners get complacent and a couple die.

here is the part that you missed out

As soon as a couple die, all trust in this disappears again, fast.
You're left with several months of planning for some hi-sec kills on people who have far too much money to care.

you also seem to have missed that a lot of incursion alts are in noob-corps, or large alliances, good luck with the genious plan though.

You're not seeing the big picture here. I have other goals than just shooting a couple of incursioners. I can do that now.

Seriousness: you can't win at a game if you don't take the time to think it through. No matter what your game, sport, hobby, or activity is, you will never be *good* at it unless you apply some thought to it. Also, it doesn't take me long to think out plans like what I have in mind. I think I spent about five minutes on this. Which is like three hours for a normal person. (in before the , it's a joke guys)

Anywho, I feel no need to justify this. If enough people participate in this scheme and we do succeed in changing the Incursion culture, I'll post the next step in a plan that has potential for some hilarity.

Not one to state the bleedin' obvious here, but wont the incursion folks see this thread, send out a mail to all the other incursion people, to be aware of whats planned and just instruct ALL logi's not to accept or rep War targets? Period?

If you were really smart, you'd have kept this quiet and shared it with the people who already have an issue with incursions and built it up gradually as planned, but without announcing it publically.
