Excellent thank you very much. Both y husband and I are using this and enjoying it, looking forward to deleting my API's which I suspect are being used by spy apps disguised as useful apps.

I really like being able to see the front end of the ship to be able to show my friends who don't know as much about Eve.

So first of all, the new mobile app is very cool. I like it.

I like, for example, that it has a skill queue viewer (and a notification if you aren't training). But why stop there? It shouldn't be too overly hard to use the crest API to modify skill queues, which means you could start training again right on your phone.

Now for the important part: why.

I once forgot to restart my training after doing a clone jump. It was suggested that I open a ticket and see if the GMs could help me. Turns out they did. After a short time, they did an investigation, and then I got reimbursed for my skill point deficit. Not even a full day's worth of training, and they still helped. (side note, thank you again GM, your help was appreciated).

This is work for the GM, who could be helping other people. If I could start it from my phone, I wouldn't even have to get up out of bed at night, I wouldn't be stuck at work thinking about my skill queue, I could resolve it myself after being notified by the app. Self-Service saves staff time and improves your RTOs simultaneously.

There's no reason not to. It doesn't imbalance the game, and since the player can already recover from their mistake via a ticket to the GM, it isn't carebearising the game because the player isn't actually penalized for their mistake

Finally!!

Personally, I only wanted a decent eve mail service app to receive and send in-game mails. Everything else is a bonus.

**Tried sending a mail, keep getting the pop-up 'Missing Fields. Please fill in all the fields"... which i have done :/ <-- EDIT: Read the post a bit before mine to press SEARCH once you have typed in character name. Does not work with Corporation/Alliance/mailing lists
Also getting CONNECTION ERROR when trying to reply to mails.

My Feedback

Mail
- Mail should function like a normal mail service (outlook, gmail etc)
- When creating a new mail, need the option to select contacts (+multiple from list) corporation/alliance and mailing lists.
- Option to select multiple mails and delete
- Can we create folders yet and redirect/move mails??

UI
- Option to disable the nebula background and have black/dark grey background.
- Theme options similar to UI themes.
- Option for compact view that removes character dp from mail inbox

Other features
- wallet journal and transactions
- assets list
- contacts list (with standings groups)
- contracts outstanding and in-progress

Thanks folks, I really like it

and here are the buts:
To log in every single account is a pain and you even have to put in every single character. A "main" login which will log in all accounts would be great and for the game too.
You can only add Chars on the account you are logged in even if you logged in with another account prior. Would be better to just add all chars of one account and you can delete chars you don't want.

CCPU simple requests:


  • let us sort chars by name / Alliance / Corp. (Right now it's a pita if you add 10+ chars)
  • It shows "A Contract has been assigned.." but I can't click it (would be nice to know and see)
  • all members of a corp will see POS timers, thats bad or a bug I assume?
  • if I go to clones I can't click the imps to show me the details of those
  • app responses fast but loading animation is shown for up to several minutes ( The "E")
  • clicking links to fittings in mails does not work
  • clicking external URL links in mails does not work either
  • unable to mark and copy stuff out of the mails I send or received WTF CCPls
  • clicking on an empty clone will just change the arrow direction in front of the station name, not displaying a text like "empty"
  • only seeing the next 7 skills in the queue and below that +29, not able to click on +29 to see the full queue
  • Can't click on the current ship, wont display fit etc.
  • Can't click on the ISK amount to see wallet journal or transactions
  • Can't click on the ISK amount to see market orders
  • Can't click on corp or alliance to see details and standings
  • Can't click on total skillpoints to get an overview of all skills
  • Where do I find how long the account the char is on is paid?
  • Where do I find how many hours are played on that char

Great start, thank you Devs.

A few things:
1) Having to set notifications and push data for each character individually is a faff. A global setting would be useful.
2) One of my characters is showing an assigned contract, which I can't find in game.
3) I'm pretty sure I wasn't able to see POS fuel timers on all characters before - I guress a filter with the API isn't working right here.

I like the fact you are making an app for eve. I just have one question/remarque. Can you look at existing apps such as evanova and others and inprove on them? Because I use evanova allready and find it much more complete. I get that it that eve portal is just a beta but it could be much more than it allready is.

Wish list includes:

Ship Skins and Skin list
Ship Spinning with counter
Manufacturing and Research Timers
Market Order Tracking
Being able to "Receive" Contracts Only (ie someone in corp needs isk and wants to unload ore, salvage, loot)
Ingame compatible Chat
Accepting Corp Applications(We now have Diplo on the Go why not Recruiting)

Another request for Windows UWP support here. With the tools Microsoft provides it should be trivial to port the iOS version to UWP.

While still fairly straightforward a native version should really also not be much of a task. This would be nice to have running on my desktop and Surface as well as my phone.

Bug report:
After downloading the app, i added 1 character. After the character was added i noticed on Calendar i could see all the corp events for the tower would run out of fuel. The character doesn't have any roles, and i can't see the events in-game even when all filters are off/on. Did not try removing the character and adding again.

- Version 1.0
- Android 7.0
- Security patch 5 okt 2016
- Kernel 3.10.73-g875b816

Hi All

A Very nice app though very overdue in coming as there is lots of 3rd party apps that do the same

Though one bug bear i do have with it is that if you logged off your char in a citadel then it kills the app in the same way you can't log into eve gate if you left your char in a citadel.


So any news on when this long known bug is going to be cured?
