DPS on heavy neutron blaster

Just got my skills done a day ago for tech 2 blasters and rails, got to say it's been totally worth it, just so I understand things bit more I'm currently getting 615.4 DPS with Void ammo, many times I hit for over 1000 HP which is great considering my low skill for tech 2 guns, I do have a low level implant for accuracy, 1 damage rig, 2 mag II stabs, all that and my question is....

Should I fit a webber for the blasters during skirmish type fighting with those pesky fast frigs or leave the tracking computer and rely on the drones for that?

Highs - 6 nuet blasters (tech 2)

Mid - microwarp, 2 cap chargers, 1 tracking computer.

Low - 2 mag stabs, 2 mission fit plating (passive), reactive armor hardener, and one armor rep.

Rigs - med nano accelerator, hybrid collision accelerator,

The ship is a brutix, I use it for missions (lvl 3/4).

And lastly, suggestions to do more skirmish type fights for lvl 4 missions, how not to get killed if I get webbed and scrambled, should I replace a cap charger with a MJD instead?

Your highs are great. You could put a neut on just for that utility high. Mids: MWD, Webifier, Warp *Scrambler*. If you need it, put a cap battery on, otherwise I'd recommend a MJD and just manage your cap intelligently.

Lows, go tracking computers+mag stabs, some reinforced bulkheads, and maybe an ancillary armor rep.

Rigs should be full t2 Transverse Bulkheads.

Congratulations, now you can rat happily and also PvP anybody who comes to kill you.

EDIT: also, faction antimatter has much better tracking than void. Only use Void for big targets that you have no problem tracking.

EDIT: also, I think the Navy Brutix has a tracking bonus? I don't know my Gallente ships well. I kill things from far away so tracking doesn't matter. Glory to the State.

Thanks, yeah I also love to snipe ships and spike ammo is excellent for that, makes killing frigs fun and less dangerous, I'm pretty new to skirmish fighting but am wanting to get into it as you say it really helps if PVP becomes necessary, I'm just covering my bases because with alpha clones coming I see a wave of people using them to attack others as alphas will be considered throw aways so I want the ability to blast them in half if it becomes necessary.

Yes, the Brutix and Navy Brutix have the tracking bonus.

And another yes for the web for smaller ships, ditch the tracking computer for the web, thank me later.

What you do in missions is you move "backwards" from frigates, so they need to follow you, which is terrible for them.

Use Void only for ships that are bigger than you are.

Now you are good to go.

Just FYI the Brutix has no tracking bonus.

The BNI loses the armor repair bonus in favor of a tracking bonus an extra low slot and more ehp.

Sorry if i'm over looking something but where are you running these missions, HS?

I might be wrong but I'm assuming the OP is running lvl3 and soon lvl4 missions in HS. A hull tanked Brutix would die in a fire if it tried to do lvl4 missions. You can't really Hull or Armor buffer tank any meaning full PVE content as the total damage put out during a single site would be in the hundreds of thunders of EHP.

If you want to run a full PVP fit ship for Missions ect you really are better off with a 100MN shield buffer ship of some sort. They mitigate most NPC DPS with speed/Sig while the small regen they do get in shields tanks the dps that is applied.

If you have T2 light drones they should be more than capable of killing NPC frigs. Best leave them to their job and spend you time killing big stuff. With blaster having very short range you will find that a lot of your time is spent moving from target to target in LVL4 missions.

Given that the TC would be better than a web. the only thing i would say is maybe try changing the Nanobot Accelerator for Auxiliary nano pump. You get a similar Armor boost but with less cap usage, the accelerators are good for PVP as you don't want people getting through your buffer before a rep lands but in PVE its very unlikely that NPCs will do enough Alphas for that to be an issue.

Also you may find that Rails are better for PVE than Blasters, saves you having to move around as much and you can also kite the NPCs to reduce incoming DPS. even fitting a AB becomes an option as range is less of an issue.

While you can't do all lvl 4's in a brutix there are many you can do, with blasters, and micro warp drive you can destroy BS's very quickly, in the hands of a better pilot then me I'm sure it is no problem cause the brutix is a beastie of a ship.

From easiest to hardest so far (lvl 4 missions)

Duo of death

Pirate invasion (I think).

Rail fit is even easier, as you said it helps with DPS and it certainly does.
