At data and relic sites I keep coming across these 'structures' that say if I get too close I will be flung faraway somewhere. I've tried to trigger these things to get them to fling me, but they never do anything. I've gotten so close that I bounce off of them but nothing happens. I've tried various things like clearing the entire site first, clearing all but one container, etc.

Anyone know what to do?

Thanks.

Its just some funky Lore description they don't do anything except to look pretty Smile
Would been fun if they worked like micro jump drive depots or so though and sent you into a random far away spot in system like an acceleration gate in k-space. P

yes they are

personally I'd love to see some more 'unknown' stuff like1-way wh (you can't go back) or random destination wh (change destination every time someone jumps), and maybe, just maybe, some of them could lead to unique and rewarding systems (Jove space or whatever), explorer era there we go! :)

Consider yourself 'flung'.

Sometimes you hit the bar and sometimes the bar hits you...
