[News] BLOOD RAIDER COVENANT CALLS ON SANI SABIK CULTISTS TO "RISE UP"

Quote:
Sarikusa calls for "the faithful of our covenant of blood to rise up and reclaim the purest flesh before it is sullied by the witches and the four beasts of the system".

So, Metaphors.

The Faithful shall rise up, like the Righteous Bread, rise up and consume the Grains of Truth, before the Naked Harpies, and the Four Pigeons of Heresy can consume and turn it into the Bird Poop of Lies.

See, now that's a metaphor.

Just like those, who work on a pirate ships as crewmembers - they are pirates, not civilians. And if the enemy can't resist - it is their problem, not mine. They shouldn't have attacked us, and if they were so incompetent to lose their weapon - it is their disgrace and their shame. If I give them chance to return and grab another weapon, then some Caldari citizens and civilians might suffer because I won't be close to save them again from a gallentean occupant, that I foolishly let to escape.

All of us make our own choices what to do, whom to serve, and whose orders to follow. And everyone must answer for their actions and choices. Including crewmembers.

I used to have much the same attitude towards some hostile groups, principally Blooders. Then it was pointed out to me that you can't really interrogate a corpse or get much intelligence from a destroyed installation. As a consequence I don't destroy structures unless ordered to do so in a mission brief or by my FC. And I only destroy actively hostile ships, or merchant shipping that I have been tasked to interdict.

I don't like wasting ammunition on insignificant targets as well, Mr. Ogunkoya. You could make a good Caldari with this attitude.

Honored are the dead, for their legacy guides us.

I thank you for the compliment, but I doubt it.

I can empathise with the notion of prioritising company over self, but Caldari culture is, to my mind, too conservative. I can see why, it being the product of such a harsh world, but I believe it would not suit me.

I'm not sure that Conservative is an entirely apt description of a culture based so squarely on coopertition. You don't make progress without taking risks - but it's wise to measure those risks.

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.

True enough. I have done a little work for the Megas but have spent little time in the State. I guess if I get the opportunity I may rectify that. Assuming I'm not KOS in State space by then. Not right now though.

I think you were more than fashionably late for this party. Omir's scurried back into his hole.
