If I buy a content pack, can I still get the trial upgrade prices?

I like that trial players can get 6 months of play time for $50 bucks. But if I buy a content pack that adds 20 days onto my trial, will I still be able to get that trial-only upgrade price? (Obviously, before the 20-extra days time runs out)

As of Tuesday Nov. 15 your trial character will become an Alpha State character and you can play the game at no charge as long as you want. The main value in the content pack, other than the game time, is the Aurum - which is only valuable if you want to buy vanity items like skins and clothing. CCP will sell you 900 AUR for $5.00 so you're not getting a discount with the content pack.

The subscription promotion is a good value. It is offered for new subscriptions a couple of times a year - I took advantage of it as a new player. It's a limited time offer so no guarantees it will still be available when the extended trial is done.

The other stuff in the content pack you will usually get free from the career missions or they will give you enough ISK to buy it.

Edit: if you subscribe before the Ascension launches on Nov 15th there will be some gifts:
"Armor suit and goggles set, available to subscribers that have an active plan on the date that the expansion launches"

The Content Pack offer will extend your trial. However, I'm not sure how the "6 months for $50" promotion is actually offered; with some promotions you have to CREATE a trial account through the promotion, and if this is the case it will not be compatible with a Content Pack. Can you provide a link to that promotion's web page, if any, so we can check the fine print?

EDIT: Normally, 6 months is $72.

A link to this page probably only shows up if you're in a trial. ( I am 3 days into my trial.) Because when I'm not logged in, I can't find the link. (It's usually in the footer. But it probably appears other places)

And maybe since you're not under trial, the above link will just go to the default add-game-time page.

The promotion is currently available to any new subscriber: https://secure.eveonline.com/buy/
It can't be combined with other promotions but I'm not sure the content packs are considered promotions in this context. Best to log a ticket and get a direct response from CCP.

I think it'll work; the Content Pack is a promotion that just extends the trial time, and the "Upgrade" promotion offers to convert your trial to a full account for $50 for prepaying for 6 months. Get and apply the Content Pack first, then the 6 month promotion.
