Welcome to EvE, a dark, dystopian, vision of the future based on the assumption that in the end humanity will find a way to immortalize itself with technology so that hatred, greed, and war can cause chaos forever across the stars.
EvE is mean. You and I don't have to be, but that is the challenge we both accepted when we logged in.

The vast majority of players here are genuinely good people outside of the game. Many Role Play the villain, because it's fun and is a necessary part of the content creation equation that we all rely on.

There are most definately some scumbaggy creepers here just like in any other game. They can be called out or you can direct mods towards them or what have you. Our GMs, ISDs, Devs, etc. are actually very good at keeping the game "civil."
Just stop making such sweeping statements about "EvE's much larger sickness."

That's annoying.

Sounds about right, after all this is a corp that has lulz about dead toddlers. (a story that was posted online so not IRL right)

So you think everything that happens in Eve and online and on these forums is not "real" and jump to the conclusion I need to "calm down" because I called the police "about wardeccing".

Someone is out of touch with reality here and it's certainly not me. My characters story is fiction, but that's about it. I believe I am talking to real people and my actions online have real consequences. I really wonder what you think "wardeccing" actually is. Is that "CODE" for something? Not to put too fine a point on it, but the manner expression I'm referring to is crying. Crying like a highsec miner.

No, that's not a reference to gender.

It's a reference to how someone thinks. Highsec miner in this usage is referring to a Carebears. Someone who doesn't take responsibility for their gaming experience, and either expects CCP to keep them safe or projects judgements about people IRL because of the way they play the game (including the forum, which is used by many as part of the meta game).

Nothing at all sexist in it. They treat everyone the same.

Best thing you can do is not let it get to you and just move on. Adding fuel to the fire isn't going to help (or, in many ways here, starting the fire).
