Benefit of multiple Research Lab facilities at a POS

Is there any benefit of having more then 1 lab active at a POS, since there is no slot limit?

For example does it make the research cost cheaper?

No it wont help there's no benefit to having more than 1.

For what it is worth ...

A bonus from multiple labs was originally announced, but it was easily exploitable, so removed before Crius was released.

Example: Bonuses only apply when a job is submitted, so online 20 labs, submit jobs on one lab, then offline the 19 other unused labs.

Plus, with infinite slots per lab, there really was no point.
