Would like a way to check size of updates before downloading.

I'm not sure if a lot of people do this, but I tether a lot through my phone in order to play eve, and I have a limited dataplan. Now, typically I can get away with about 10mb/hr of gameplay if my cache is pretty complete (that's another thing I'll mention later), but if I happen to turn on eve without wifi after downtime, I have no idea if an update might be 5mb, or 1.3gb, and I won't see a value in the launcher until it's already pulled 50-100mb from my data.

I would love a way to check how much is required to download before it starts, either through an API endpoint, a forums post, or an option in the launcher to ask if I'm ready to download a new update which will take up x amount of data.

Back to the cache
I had to clear mine recently due to issues (most of us know that could mean anything but is totally necessary in many cases) so now my client is downloading cache items as it encounters them... the problem is - again, my data limits.

Could I set my client/launcher to retrieve cachable item0s when I connect over wifi so I'm not playing dataplan roulette every time I log in? For the first week after clearing my cache I couldn't know if my client would pull 100, or 500mb just from flying through Jita, and weeks later I'm still hitting 50+mb here and there for what should have cost me only 5mb to do if my cache were more complete.

Tethering is my life-line to eve, I spend a lot of time in secluded areas far from wifi, and phone plans are ridiculously expensive in my country due to lack of competition. I literally save my data for those times that I'm confident I can log in without breaking the plan, but if I'm out and haven't connected over wifi since before downtime, it does stop me from even trying to connect.

This is an issue for me as well.

And with the insane speed of 4g these days, by the time you start receiving an SMS from your mobile provider to say you are getting close to your limit, generally a large download has surpassed my quota and it's too late.
