I think you should have proof-read your post.

When you don't know the difference between there, their, and they're, you come across as being so uneducated that your viewpoint can be safely dismissed. The literate is unlikely to learn much from the illiterate.

You omitted to use capital letters and failed to spell a very common 3 letter word in full. You shouldn't be making snide remarks about proof reading by any stretch of the imagination.

Get out.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

When I was in the US Coast Guard, a "chit" was like a request form (time off, switching duties with another sailor, etc) that was filled out and had to be approved up the chain of command, including the Captain.

Not to sidetrack, but I have a lot of respect for USCG people, and I have a story from one of them.
-Bar in Guam, around 6 PM. People just having a beer after work, still smart and cool.
-Typhoon had just blown a lot of banana trees and taken a lot of corrugated roofs off in the Western Pacific. Not that great for the people on the ground after 12 hours and waking up with n roofs, btw.
-Coast Guard small ship commander (not sure, ignorant-- a cutter?) on the next bar stool says what his job is. I ask how things went during the typhoon.
-His story: "We got a distress call from a capsized freighter, in the open Pacific SE of Guam. We got the crew out... but they had live cattle on the deck. Hundreds of them. Cattle couldn't swim, not for very long at least. I never saw so many sharks in the water, all species, circling around. About a 1-mile radius of them, visible on the surface, out in the open ocean."
Horrible story, hard to imagine.... Anyway, the USCG pushed through that typhoon and rescued the human crew, at least. One of the Coast Guard stories that happen out there doing the daily work, I guess. You'd know better than I would, that's for sure.
