Arbitrator redesign. Feedback wanted

Hello!
I have taken it upon myself to refresh the design of the arbitrator, here is the model:

Let me know if
1: It is still reminiscent of the orgiginal to you
2: Parts you like and don't like on it

2: The Arbitrator is one of the ships in New Eden that is beautiful as she is.

Question is, why change her? There is still the Caldari toothbr- errm Osprey, the Celestis, the Tormentor (maybe) and some others.

Not that I'm feeling to strongly about your design, just I don't think she'll need anything nearly as dramatic.
An updated model to keep her sharp but nothing much more.

You are right guys, It probably doesn't need a redesign anyway. I have very little concept design skills, and it evidently shows. I think I will instead take concepts of ships that don't exist in the game yet, and just model them. Also taking down the link to the page with the photos.

Can you describe to me what turned you off? Was it the fact that it had little resemblance to the original, or were there features that just didn't appeal to you? I would love to know, it helps to improve!

Both. I'd get into more detail, but your link now returns "Page not Found", so I have to go by memories. I do remember your redesign having a really weird nose, unlike the more flattened shape of the Arbitrator. It was strangely unlike the ship, unlike the Amarr in general and just plain ugly. It reminded me of a spaceship from a 60s SF B-Movie.

That doesn't really work in EVE.
