Hey Guys,

i am looking for a Orca fit for low sec -0.6 Big smile
I am pretty new to this game, and all i do is mining and ratting. I would love to combine those 2 with the new Orca upgrade that is coming out. I want to mine belts and when it needs i want to kill the rats that will enter the belt.

Any ideas on a fit for it ?

Mining in lowsec isn't worth the risk. The ores are not significantly better than hisec.

Mining in lowsec with an Orca is suicide.

Still looking for a fit for pve ;)

Suicide for pvp maibe, but i want to survive pve.

Uh, the new Orca will still be crap as a PvE boat. That said, even a really bad fit shouldn't struggle with any rats encountered while mining.

Do you want to rat in low sec or null sec? You said low sec, but -0.6 is null.

Just throw on the boosts, throw on tank, then anything that's left throw on damage mods.

Basically, two X-Large ASBs, the remaining mids for shield hardeners. Then every other slot is free for you to misuse as you see fit. If you really want to throw good money after bad, use geckos for your drone DPS. Because nothing says "I am insane" like mining in lowsec with a dual ASB Orca flinging gecko-y death at your attackers.

You will die, but it will be a glorious death and you will gain notoriety amongst the elite PVPers.

In the meantime I will be hugging the hisec belts filling up that 180k ore hold with the safe juicy goodness of plagioclase and pyroxeres. Or levelling my Raven.

I will echo what others said : don't.

It won't survive PvE, because PvP will come to you first. An orca in lowsec is traveling through with a heavy escort, or just a killmail waiting to happen, very soon.

Unless, by lowsec -0.6, you mean the lower end of highsec, in which case it's highsec, so you should be alright.
