Turns out i was reading out-dated information. If anyone can tell me how to delete forum posts that'd be great.

To clarify your initial post (and for those who may have read it), here are two points.

1. You only gain kill rights on someone who blows you up in empire space (be it hisec or losec) if you don't shoot back. Once you shoot back, the aggressor earns a limited engagement with you, and that denies any kill rights. I am uncertain what happens in the situation where the aggressor blows you up later, after the LE has ended.

2. When you activate a kill right on someone, they turn suspect. This means that anyone can engage them, it's not just limited to you.
