Anyone know if its possible to run EVE on SteamOS? Im working on making a SteamBox and was unsure how to get it to run on SteamOS as its not a standard Linux version.

DISCLAIMER: I'm using regular Steam on regular Linux, so ymmv

In my Steam-version there's an option to add a non-Steam game under the Games-menu on the top.

Hit Browse and change .desktop to All files and navigate to evelauncher.sh and it should work.

Thats easy, i understand that portion. SteamOS however just uses the linux kernal as the base to run Steam in "big picture mode". This is were my questioning comes from as there is no real linux GUI for me to install wine on.

The linux launcher comes with its own version of Wine, it is downloaded and maintained by the launcher itself Big smile
