From a recent ticket I submitted:

Dear CCP Dev team / Game Masters:

With the recent Blood Raider event I thought that in the spirit of things, it would be nice to put on the Blood Raider gear for the duration of the event.

What I did not realize was that upon putting on the Blood Raider beret, my original and old school hair style would be lost.

When I went to remove the beret, I found that my hair did NOT default back to my old school hairstyle as I expected, but rather, that I was given a new (and horrifying) hairstyle that was in the same default selection slot.

Further I realized that I not only would I not get my old school very cool hair style back, but that the only options I found ( except for one ) for the new hair styles are all HORRID.

TERRIBLE.

From Princess Leia wannabes to soccer mom hair buns, to some silly combinations of the two. No bangs or ponytails? (Save for that hideous mop with "bangs"). Eve is a 13 year old game and only 7 hairstyles?

Honestly we're supposed to be bad a## space pilots and pirates, not soccer moms, or Princess Leia wannabes.

While I am glad that our clothing options have greatly increased, (kudos there) sadly the hairstyles are so EXTREMELY limited not only in style but in number. I believe if you look for yourself, you will agree that all seven (yes, only seven available hairstyles) of the "new hairstyle options" are cookie cutter and fairly similar with very few standouts.

For these reasons I humbly request that my character's old school hair style (and/or portrait) be reverted / rolled back to what it was last week.

Thank you for your help and consideration, and also I ask that you revisit the extremely sparse selection of hairstyles (both male and female) available in the very near future.

On that note, November's major patch is just around the corner, and from a publicity standpoint, you as Game Developers and Game Masters, as well as CCP as a gaming company and Eve Online as a brand, could really knock this one out of the park by implementing / adding a good dozen or more additional hairstyle options for your capsuleers.

Wouldn't you agree?

By the way, why do I need to shave my head to put a hat on?
