Launcher constantly updating

When I open the launcher, I keep getting a pop-up that says;

"Downloading new version 1086194

The EVE lanucher has downloaded an update (version 1086194). Press OK to apply the update or Cancel to stay on the current version. Update will be applied automatically in xx seconds."


However, if I click OK the launcher closes. I then have to re-open the launcher, and I get the update pop-up again.
When I leave it the launcher closes, and same thing, i get the pop-up again.

Only option is to Cancel, but then I get it each time I open the launcher.

There were a couple of dev versions that broke the update day before yesterday, as the launcher failed to exit cleanly, preventing the update process from updating the launcher executable. The problem is fixed now - if you are stuck on a broken version, reinstalling the launcher fixes it, or killing it in taskmanager while updating.

Doing a clean install and the download is stuck at the following.

downloaded new launcher [EveLauncher-1069348] and the launcher is still having problems downloading updates.

Found out what the problem was, microsoft essentials was chocking on the install.

Are you guys going to fix this problem or not? I am still having this problem with the binaries trying to update everytime I open my launcher. I have also summited a ticket on this problem...

I am still using the old launcher on my iMac (late 2013), simply cause it works better than the new one (and no fancy bullshit window), or at least used to work until couple minutes after downtime.

I closed the game and later this night, when I wanted to start playing EVE, I just get this white window,..doesn't load anything, window title says V2.2.999545....??

It still worked like 10minutes after downtime....Dunno what is problem...

PLEASE fix this !!!
