Most effective duo for c4 anoms?

As per the title I am looking to get back into funding PvP with WH anoms.

I am planning on setting up shop in a c4 with likely a c4/c3 static (not entirely sure yet).

My question would be in the c4, what is the most effective duo? I can currently fly near max skill RR Domi's on the two toons I have been preparing for this. I have been thinking about bleeding them over into carriers but am not entirely sure if a duo carrier setup would be more effective than a duo marauder setup. It would take roughly 70 days to get into carriers as opposed to 40ish to get into marauder. I will likely be popping some skill injectors to expedite the process.
Looking at the costs of the hull, a marauder is running pretty close to a carrier. The only advantage I can think of with the marauder is being able to pass into the lower class holes for more farming whereas the carriers are somewhat stuck unless a higher grade hole hooks in. Carriers would be able to put up more of a fight against any smaller gank fleet, though I would expect if a larger fleet came through I would be dead either way.

Any advice on the matter is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Carriers would be stuck even if you get a high end connection. Capital WH`s is only found in C5-C6.
Tbh if you only will use the WH for farming , you should go subcap since you will run out of sites in your C4.

You have the best choice already, dual domi's. You will eventually lose them, and when you do it will be a cheap loss. Losing two Marauders in one fell swoop is gonna be devastating, I don't think it is worth it personally.

Dual domis , dual typhoons, dual nestors, dual marauders, t1 bc fleet sprinkled with 2-3 t1 remote rep cruisers works too.
Depends on what you value completion speed or easy to replace losses Big smile

Dual RR Domis or dual RR Tengus depending on the wh effect. I used to run dual paasive super blingy Drakes in C4 pulsars many years ago. Took ages to clear a site. Then I upgraded to Tengus and Domis. The Drakes became yolo baits.

I was thinking of going with duo of shield nestors. Have a fit that tanks 2.3k hp cold without implants. I believe they sat at around 700dps as well. Going to fiddle around with it a little bit to see if I can get them better.

Only issue is that they are running around the same cost as a standard fit carrier :- /

M8, why do you want to fly nestor over domi ? Nestor cost several times more and does same DPS.

Well then you should see a doctor about that.
