Maybe. But the good thing about it is, that it teaches us again not to spend too much time, money and emotions for something, that will be swept away in just a blink of an eye some day.

I don't see the connection to gambling and neither to 3rd parties. Draws are in the channel, chat supplies the RNG, transfer via wallet and contract. I don't see any issues.

And like I said before, its a social gathering, not a slot machine. Having a good time in the channel every second week for 3 draws hardly feeds any gambling addiction. You can neither sped up the process by playing again or more at the same time, nor invest more then the max number while loosing possible winnings by doing so and outbidding yourself, since the price is fix °°

If this would be classified as gambling, then sending loonie continually my ore via contract, to refine and sell and return ISK via a 3rd toon would be "games of chance operated by third parties". Cause every time I would transfer assets to a third party taking a risk for possible good reward.... not even knowing how much he would skim off (hehe, o/ Loonie). And 'oh no' he might use an out of game spreadsheet °°

Those are actually some rather good points Fer.

Nothing is actually done by any 3rd party.

You can't "play/gamble" on the website (3rd party) - It's done ingame (by transfering ISK)
The draw isn't done by a RNG on the website - But by actual people (2nd party) ingame.
