fed up with lack of CCP support

since last DT i still can not log into game , very little help from support desk and now no contact for 18hrs now . dreadful score of 1-10 for customer help

And why can't you log in?, ISP problems?, Blue Screen?, Former IWI Banker?.

Check everything concerning network, including your isp. If you don't find anything at all, reinstall EVE. Up to now, closed socket issues have always been on my side, unless CCP stated, they had problems.

Last time was a router problem. That was fixed by a firmware update.

Remove standings and insurance.

nothing seams to work , other games like Elite dangerous works fine and EVE did until last DT . So totally gutted just got my skills and ship into a good level now all is lost cant play .

Ive had this alot lately myself along with alot of other people , i found a thread with some useful info in it today that i havent tried but will give it a shot when i get home you might want to check it out, gl.

The bottom line with CCP is that they dont know why this is happeneing so try the tips in the above link and hopefully it works for you. Let us know if it resolves the problem and what you did.

if i cant get the game fixed i will advise any body planning on playing EVE is dont .

Try connecting via a VPN, that usually fixes socket closed errors for me as the connection is routed differently

Virtual Private Network, it changes your IP address and re-routes your internet connection and lots of other technical things I don't understand...but I do understand that it stops socket closed errors.
