o7 fellow capsuleers,

Me and my alliance are primarily based in a C3 wormhole and will eventually move into a C5 sometime in the future. I have seen the performance of capital ships in wormholes and am planning ahead for either dreadnoughts or carriers. So I have the following questions on which of each ship type is best for the following

1) Which ship type and class for running the sites
2) Best ship type and class for assaulting enemy POSs and Citadels
3) Best ship type and class for defending your own POS and Citadel
4) Which is cheaper

For running sites, currently, using capitals is way too risky for what you're getting.
Use subcap fleet instead and in the current meta Rattlesnakes are the most efficient.

As for shooting POSs and Citadels, pretty much all dreads. However, your capitals will primarily be used to combat the opponents fleet. In that setting, Naglfar is currently the best dread to use against subcaps. A Phoenix is better against other capitals.
My personal preference for dreads at the moment is Nag > Phoenix > Moros > Rev.

The same goes for defending your own assets. Aagain, capitals are force multiplyers and used primarily on enemy ships. Shooting the actual structure comes after that.

When you are defending you're own assets you may want to field a force auxiliary to support your fleet. In my opinion the Apostle is most powerful one in a wormhole setting (because of it's resist bonus). But, that depends on your fleet doctrines though. The Lif is a popular FAX aswell, and for good reason. The other FAXs have their pro's aswell. Choose one that best fits with your corps playstyle and fleet doctrines.

Ofcourse, the right fits AND knowing how to fly your capitals are maybe even more important then what type of capital you are bringing.

with current state of capitals and anomalies of C5/C6 its not worth moving there ... capital pvp is pretty much dead thanks to ovepowered FAXes, capital PVE is not worth compared to gain (you field multiple billions of ISK for worthless spawns which only slows you down) ... if i were you id move to C2 or C4 (depends if you want K-space static)

It is quiet surprising how well a few snakes rip the Sleeper boss a new A hole.

We were scared shitless of it, then we tried it on sisi and its really not that much dps/neut.

We realized the problem is isk/ehp. It has so much ehp that it might be better to do another site instead of the sleeper (we are farming in our static). We just tried it once so maybe its gonna be better using the damage hole,

With a small but good fleet (think 3-4 rattlesnakes) a sleeper site takes about 20-25 minutes... done properly the drifter takes a bit less than 20 minutes... which means you're still earning more doing the drifter than you would with the regular site.
