logic, if i can put a pos in null or low, i should be able to put any pos mod on it except maybe a drug lab.
if i am in npc terriroty, and i want to setup a small network out to where ever else in low or null, i should just have to pay in charters or however the mechanic would work. go to the local npc's and pay them a small fee and set up a jump bridge.

i mean if we can defend our pos, we should be able to jb to it.
ok, so we dont put em in high sec, but once in low (already through your mandatory pvp choke point), i dont see why it would hurt to jump to another system. if i can do it with a capital, whats wrong with a jb?

before you guys just say no, think about it. the mechanics are there.

it would lead to move low sec battles over moons for jb. actually, it would lead to TONS of pvp in low sec.

My initial thoughts on it:

1.

I don't quite see how it necessarily leads to more lowsec pvp, fighting over moons to put up jump bridges.

Most moons are R8, R16 and worth not much. They aren't occupied because moon mining on them isn't worth anything. So there's really lots of room available to put up more POSs to have jump bridges.

2.

The more the rest of space provides the same advantages as owning sov, the less reason there is to own sov.

I also live in NPC Null (Syndicate) and having also held sov in the last few months, there is a lot more effort invested in taking and defending sov, especially if the constellation is worth it.

So I'm not really against the idea. I can see lots of positives. However I am a bit reluctant to agree with it, having been both on the sov owning side and the NPC null side (and lowsec).

I think sov owners should have advantages to owning their sov that others don't; especially as it is so easy to erect a POS, I could easily put one up in someone else's sov space while they are on the off-peak time and have a jump bridge up in their sov ready to bridge in an attacking fleet against them.

That I think is a huge negative to the idea. It is easily exploitable.

I don't need to think about it: IT's bullgarbage. Jump Bridges are a standalone factor of Null sec that differentiates it from High sec (no quick travel at all), Low sec (some quick travel via Titans/BLOPs) and a lot of quick travel and a lot of quick travel and in addition permanent quick travel in Null sec. It's a logical progression and therefore JB have no place in low sec.
But CCP will overthrow that logic before long anyways with the Gate structures that will introduce all of this into Low and High sec as well, further removing any reason whatsoever to leave High sec to find content, activity, and different and unaccustomed activities because everything will be the same.

My ridicule, heavy criticism and general pale outlook about your or CCP's ideas is nothing but an encouragement to prove me wrong. Give it a try.
