from the thread here i was thinking that this would be a fun and good idea.

So i now want to start a tournament of this up, at the moment going to look for around 20 to 30 people willing to join up.
if we can get atleast 20 in numbers interested then the tournament is a go!


If the tournament has enough people to start then it will be something like this.

Entry:120,000,000 ISK
1st Place:1,500,000,000 ISK
2nd Place500,000,000 ISK
3rd Place:200,000,000 ISK


I was thinking of live streaming it, but that could cause some cheating to occur (what are your opinions on this?)
also planned on doing some spectating (anyone able to spectate? another risk of a spectator helping a friend out)

all the games will be fraps'd and uploaded to youtube

was also thinking of a betting system, Either bet for who will win 1st prize before the tournament starts, or just per game(your thoughts on this aswell.)

Each contestant will be given a ID number, then before the tournament begins they will be randomly paired up.
also make sure the game works for you before you ask to sign up

Sounds fun, I'm interested.

OpenRA is pretty nice. My only disappointment is the lack of increased building speed when you have more than one structure of a certain type. Had to rethink my harvest everything, build 1 tank per second strategy Big smile Seems like it misbehaves on certain older ATI chips too, so I couldn't humiliate a friend who loved RA ;(

Maybe we can talk about gambling too, depending on interest.

yeah i had a worry with old hardware, especially ATI they always have **** compatability with older cards/games.

but for the gambling part i was only thinking you only get a maximum of what was put in from the total kitty. but your isk would be 5 - 10x this would be for a guess who will become 1st in the whole tourny, might also win some if your guess comes second or something. what would you think?
