I tried to renew my subscription with my credit card (mastercard).

ERROR!

No game time.

Credit card account balance dropped.

Great service you got for handling payments. Yes, I did submit a ticket. Now I just wait for the verdict that is EVE support saying no payment and bank saying yes you did pay something.

And of course, there is no way that the error occurred in transmission some point between your credit card charge going through and the response back to CCP?

Surely you recognise that both parties here can be correct and it's not either's fault, but an issue somewhere else?

So why cry here blaming a party when you don't even know if they are actually to blame?

I had this happen to my account during the summer. I submitted a support ticket, and within four hours CCP graciously gave me 10 days of free play as a result. During this 10 days of free play we were able to sort this error out.

I was dubious initially about following the instructions provided by CCP's support staff, but it worked.

Ask for help and be patient, CCP wants your subscription.

Just because the pending charge is on your account doesn't mean the transaction was successful. It usually will take a bit for unsuccessful pending charges or verifications to drop off the card history. The balance changing is just so people are aware that money may or may not have been spent and thus is not 100% guaranteed to be available.

I had a similar issue occur with MWO about 8 months ago. Submit order, payment shows on card side of things, nothing appears in the actual account. It took about a day for them to drop off. Support ticket was answered later saying their billing service was having issues and not issuing payment received confirmations to them, so items were never added to accounts.
