I've recently sent a translation of the entire meeting minutes from the latest CSM reunion with CCP to my entire alliance (i'm kind of the news person). And since i translated it to portuguese, proper punctuation was necessary (since i am an educated person). However, the end result was less than readable.

Here's an example:

15. Reunião com o departamento de arte:


CCP começou dizendo que houve uma reorganização deste dept. Antigamente haviam três sub-departamentos (Naves, CQ e Characters) cada um cuidando de seu próprio backlog. Porém agora esses não mais existem, sendo praticamente todo foco em naves. Há apenas um backlog e apenas um gerente de projeto.


And here is what it should look like:

The e-mail was sent from EVE-Gate. If i send it through the in-game client it works fine. If i copy and paste the punctuated text from a browser or an outside text editor, it also works fine. What gives?
