Mac OSX El Capitan
Late 2011 Macbook Pro (discreet 6770m gfx)

My game crashes anywhere from 5-15 minutes into playing. It will do it docked, before I log in to the character. I get a wine crash report. I did a little searching and I didn't find anything specific that might have helped, in fact I didn't find much of anything about people crashing to desktop. Attached is the wine backtrace.

Here is the "backtrace" crash dump from wine:

It seems to be crashing in audio related code, somewhere.

Try looking in /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/HAL/ - look for something called RazerAudio.plugin or similar. Try moving it out of this folder (you may want to put it back later) and see if EVE is more stable. We've had some issues with this plugin, usually on startup, though, but it is in your callstack so it's worth a try.

Another thing to try is to disable EVE voice.

Please let me know if this helps, we're trying to get to the bottom of this so any information helps.

Yep, I removed that plugin and disabled eve voice and I played for a good half hour without crashing. I closed the game and put the plugin back (eve voice still disabled) and it crashed on loading into the hangar.

I'm not even sure why I have a razor audio plugin in there. I'm more familiar with the windows operating system than I am mac, but I'm assuming its safe to just get rid of that plugin?

Thanks for your help, and let me know if I can do anything to help you debug this issue.

If you have a Razer headset and have Razer Synapse installed, it will install this plugin. You can safely delete it - it can apply some effects to the sound in the headset but if you weren't aware of it you were likely not using it.
