I'm curious, did you conclude Guristas 3/10, Guristas 4/10, or Serpentis 3/10? Or did you go with an Angel option instead? I'm pretty sure I could make the case for any of those....

(suspects trick question because people in Eve always trying to trick others)

It's the one you run.

"Tomahawks?"

"----in' A, right?"

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

"----, you pay me half that and I'll hump in some c4 and blow the ---- out of it my own damn self."

Just remember that its not always about isk per site. The Gurista 4/10 drops one of the most expensive modules but competition is very high so you will most likely find more sites/less site stealers in other areas.

they have only 3k isk and there's only 7 or 8 enemies the overall loot is only 4~6 million in value in each one

not counting other players it might be in there it makes it even worse

The ded 3/10 and 4/10 sites have a very variable a mounten of rats. From many frigate to some cruisers.
The loot is VERY variable too. From only overseer effects to several hundret millions.

radkid10 just to confirm are you talking about the scanned down sites or the ones you always see 100% on your scanner?

The always there sites (Anomalies) don't tend to be profitable on base site, the money for those comes from the rare faction spawn at the end or from it escalating into a DED complex.

The scanned down sites can be rated or unrated sites. The unrated ones can escalated into a rated sites if lucky (correct me if wrong) and the rated ones in HighSec range range from 1/10 to 4/10. The rated site have a "boss" at the end of each one which has the chance to drop Deadspace (light blue corner) loot that ranges from a couple of million to hungreds of millions.

There are also other rare drops in loot tables and most DED sites will normally give a Overseer's Effects which can be traded into NPC CONCORD market orders for ISK.

Hopefully that helps and if I have miswritten any information others please correct me (I have been away from game for a while).

No problem.

Others here might be able to give you better and more up to date information (and most likely with less spelling mistake than me).

This EVE player also covers a lot of exploration content in EVE so if you look through some of his earlier videos you might find some ships/fittings/information to help you out. Link: https://www.youtube.com/user/JonnyPew

Sadly all my information came from the EVEWiki which isn't around any more so I can't link you to the material I learnt from.

Drake is a pretty lousy option for high sec because it can only fit into 4/10s and unrated sites. It's also pretty bad on damage, which is much more important than tank until 5/10s.

I really like using a Confessor in high sec:

[Confessor, sisters arc beams don't be poor]
Coreli A-Type Small Armor Repairer
Imperial Navy Heat Sink
Imperial Navy Heat Sink
Imperial Navy Heat Sink
Corpii C-Type Adaptive Nano Plating

5MN Y-T8 Compact Microwarpdrive
Imperial Navy Cap Recharger
Tracking Computer II, Optimal Range Script

Small Focused Beam Laser II, Imperial Navy Ultraviolet S
Small Focused Beam Laser II, Imperial Navy Ultraviolet S
Small Focused Beam Laser II, Imperial Navy Ultraviolet S
Small Focused Beam Laser II, Imperial Navy Ultraviolet S
Sisters Expanded Probe Launcher, Sisters Core Scanner Probe
[empty high slot]

Small Capacitor Control Circuit II
Small Capacitor Control Circuit II
Small Hyperspatial Velocity Optimizer II

Takes a bit of micromanagement but that thing paid for itself multiple times over.

Feel free to downgrade to fit into your budget, but the bones on that fit work really well. Can obliterate 3/10s (or at least Sansha, BR, drone, and Serpentis 3/10s). Has no real issues in 4/10s either providing you're careful. Vigil, Watch... yeah, it does just fine.
