Hi I came back after 6 years to find my main character is bugged with her skill list, and skill queue not displaying anything. I can't train any skill atm, so i have to play on an alt.
I really don't want to start another alt...
I submitted a bug report and its status is currently "Attached"
Attached: This report has been linked to an active defect.
So my question is how long does an "attached" bug usually take to get resolved?
I have commented asking for ETA, but noone replied... So i'm bringing this to the forums.
Thank you.

If you specifically want CCP to take action, then you should submit a support ticket instead of a bug report. (use the EVE universe link at the top of the forum, click on "support" and "submit support ticket) these tend to be answered quickly, for something like a skill queue bug you'd probably get a reply within a few hours.

Bug reports themselves, depending on the severity of the bug may take a while to fix, they could be hot-fixed immediately, patched with the next expansion, or in several expansions time.

Thanks for the information. I just submitted a support ticket.
I used the in-game report system so it automatically created a bug report.
Didn't know that bug reports take a while to get resolved.

on a bug report they may never get back to you. A bug report is when you are letting the devs know that there is something buggy about the game that requires some changes to the game and does not have anything that needs to be acted on with regards to your personal gameplay.

The support ticket system is there for when you are having an issue that directly affects your gameplay and needs action from a GM.

A good example of a bug report type item is if CCP introduced a new ship model and it was not displaying properly in certain situations. You can still play the game just fine but every once in a while the ship glitches and does not look right.

While you wait for them to respond, start the EVE Launcher and click the options to clear the various caches and reset the settings to default. It's the first thing they're going to ask you to do for troubleshooting, and usually when stuff doesn't display it's a client problem, not a server problem.

Otherwise, expect it to take a few days, maybe even a week+, to get a response.

Edit: As stated above, the response time may depend on urgency. However, keep in mind don't spam CCP, it will not help your case.

Ok..stupid question time (after beers)

But have you actually re-subbed now, or just tried to log on?
