Tactical Overlay bubble sphere gone?

I am guessing this may be a Mac "thing".

When I mouse over a weapon / mod with range while my tactical overlay is on, I do not see a 3D sphere but just a flat red circle to indicate range. Did this change game-wise or is this something to do with Wine on Mac (or did I miss a setting)?

Any thoughts? thanks.

Feel free to close/delete this. The change was intentional and it's not a Wine/Mac issue. Sorry for the noise.
