Currently my goal is to stock up on a few basic frigates (Merlin's primarily) and all the fittings required. Depending on what modules I use the fittings alone run me anywhere between 5-10mil, frigate prices are for the most part negligible due to the really good insurance payout. Considering I'm completely new at this I fully expect to lose at least a handful of ships per day.

My question is how do I finance 50mil+ daily expenditures? I have a limited amount of time I can dedicate to the game every week and I'd rather not spend it doing exploration site mini-games.

best thing i done when i started pvp'ing as a new player was simply buy a plex with rl money, it kept me funded in plenty of ships and i could enjoy the game instead of worrying when ill hit rock bottom from welping.

If you cant buy plex maybe try out faction warfare

Calm down miner. As you pointed out, people think they can get away with stuff they would not in rl... Like for example illegal mining... - Ima Wreckyou*

you either loot wrecks, pick up forgotten drones, mine/missiond in hisec on an alt, do a bit of exploration, or buy a plex every month to sell for isk. A plex is worth about 100 t2 fitted frigs.

I feel like faction warfare would be a great way to fund your pvp excursions while also staying within your realm of frigate pvp. You can sit in a novice with a merlin and wait for pvp to come to you and earn LP at the same time. It's not OMG crazy amounts of isk but it's a nice steady form of income that should be perfect for what kind of pvp you're going for.

Use a second character slot to provide that noble ISK doubling service in jita local. One weekend of that and you'll be set for a few months given the kind of PvP you're talking about

Buy PLEX for ISK. Worrying about funding PvP losses totally kills the fun. Making 50m per day as a newbie with limited time is not trivial and requires a considerable amount of grind. With skills, losses and expierience come ... more wins and their loot, and additional income sources (trading, production, PI, DED sites, clone soldier hunt, ...) which help funding the PvP in-game.

I'm my own NPC alt.

Appreciate all the replies, I think I'll just go the Plex route for now.

You could always suicide gank retrievers. There's a big notorious alliance out there that has a full SRP, using that, you will make on average 5-10 mil per gank WHILE getting pvp kills. That's two birds with one stone right there.

It's easy and quick to train an alt for such activities.

Just a few other idea.
Market trading can be extremely lucrative if you are into the whole buy here and sell there thing.
With a character trained for cloaking skills PI in a low sec system or systems can bring in a decent income stream as well.

Ratting in low sec in a destroyer is pretty good isk, especially if you can find any NPC clone rats (they drop security tags that can be sold for 5m-20m each, depending on the security level of the system, with the lower the better). You can rebuild your security status at the same time.

PLEX will probably do for the first month or two, then move onto the others. Exploration is really hit or miss and you cannot rely on anomaly escalations, since those seem to be rare (at least in my case).

Otherwise, go faction warfare.

PLEX is a solid idea, albeit an expensive one at times, just never compromise RL finances to get another batch of rifters.
And eventually once you get good at your type of PVP you'll start getting more kills with fewer losses and the loot might sustain you. Or you can do what most people do and make an Incursion alt to grind ISK, or use your pvp skills to do some ratting or suicide ganking.

I buy plex and loot wrecks, the other day I was roaming and came across a battlefield and salvaged about 100mil from it in less than an hour (Was being chased around by an astero all the while). Got officer mods in the loot and a billion drones.
