And small, medium and large bubbles that scram and neut and web and tracking disrupt, damp, pint and jam with 9 point defense turrets that have no tracking and let's say 1000dps each.

Mines were a terrible idea and should not be brought back.

CCP should add more NPC 0.0 space to open it up and liven things up: the Stepping Stones project.

It was not fun to fly some where and run into a mine and die, a mine that was put there hours ago by a player that is no longer online.
It was not fun to be a statistic on someones kill board when they did nothing but drop a mine and warp away to sit and ship spin in a station some where.

Mines were a terrible idea that was removed from the game. They are a terrible idea that should never be brought back into the game.

so might a little revamp

- player could deploy max 3 mines
- mine should be timer one hour to explode
- if player go offline all mines explode

how mines should works, other way

you need fit special mine module (minelauncher), you have charges and when flying you can lay mine after you. when someone directly pursuit you, it can hit him. and it decay (thats BSG inspiration)


as well when you try it deploy near buble, it explodes, because in mine thinking buble=ship

there can be much ways how it reintegrate into game right and with good gameplay
