What does CONCORD standing affect?

Does anyone know what the CONCORD Assembly standing effects? I'm running Angel Cartel missions and some of them are against CONCORD. I know having a low SECURITY STATUS will restrict your travel through high sec, but what does a low faction standing with CONCORD do? Do I just get attacked by faction police when I pass through the CONCORD sov constellation in Genesis, or are there other consequences?

Also, does running missions in nullsec for pirates affect security status at all?

I would assume Faction Police will shoot at you in CONCORD space if your Faction standings get below -5.0

No. However, your Faction standings will drop if you shoot Empire Faction rats. Empire faction standings will drop when you run Storylines missions as your chosen Pirate faction climb. Should these standings get under -5.0, Faction Police will dislike you.

Pirate factions storyline standing gains will have more negative impact on some Empire factions than others. I am certain some Google search on faction standings will show you which is which.

I remember when having bad concord standing was a death sentence if you passed through whatever constellation is the concord one in Gensis. You couldn't jump, dock as your gcc and jump timer refreshed every second. Even in your pod. You had to petition getting stuck and then it was 50/50 if the gm decided to move you. Or you had to self destruct your pod to get out.

Wait, they really changed that? Why wouldn't faction police in concord constellations just be concord? You should get a GCC and podexpress if that happens to you :P

Level 3 syndicate missions dropped concord cloaking device. It was an awesome drop to get.
