Hi Just coming back from 1 year rest . I got some confuse about compress ore (I never done before) . Now we could compress ore without any skills require ? And did it had any waste ? (I mean is the result of reprocess compress ore and normal ore in same station to mineral is different or not)

Another question If I need more % from reprocess item (like weapon or armor that got from pve mission) What skills that I need to got maximum % .

You can now compress ore for free in any citadel structure that offers public reprocessing. No skill, no waste, and the compressed ore takes up less space than the minerals you would get if you reprocess. Many systems have one or more astrahus or fortizar structures in the overview. Show info on these to see if reprocessing is offered as a service. If it is, you can compress there. Or there is also a structure browser in the Neocom under Business.

A compression array in a POS, or a Rorqual, will compress same as before, but most people are now using the citadels.

The *only* skill that makes a difference is Scrapmetal Processing and the highest you can get is 55% at level 5 (base is 50%). It's not exactly lucrative.

You can usually find a good citadel around, but I still carry a small POS, a bit of fuel, a handful of charters, and a compression array when I'm gathering huge amounts of minerals from buy orders in a freighter. Sometimes it's still faster to pop one up. Not usually, but sometimes.
