Good Afternoon,

I recently moved into a C2 wormhole and was wondering if the WH Community could offer some advice.

What would you say is the Perfect / Ideal Ship for doing C2 combat sites solo taking into consideration time to do the sites and relative cheapness of the ship.

I'm currently flying a GILA while I skill up and to be honest its a tad boring to use and before that I used a Gnosis which was ok ish.

Kind Regards,

Vector

You could try a bc like rail , blaster brutix or harbinger, prophecy or hurricane.

I was thinking a Navy Brutix would be nice or maybe a Deimos with those T2 resists

Thankyou, I had actually checked Google but the majority of the fits were from 2011 to 2014. There was a few 2015 fits but nothing for 2016 and well considering I started this year and have no idea what the current meta / state of play is I thought it would be wise to ask.

Thankyou buddy, Id considered a drake as its a very cheap option, unfortunately my higher skills are in drones so the VNI seems my best bet. I'm currently flying a Gila but the fit I used from Google searching seems to be very cap intensive and I struggle to get to the end of a site.

The Gila is a great ship but with having a constant high sec stat i want to fly something cheaper i guess.

While losing more expensive ships than you need to does suck, don't forget to factor in site run time.

If it takes you 50% of the time to run sites in a ship that is only 75% more expensive than another ship, it would be worth it, in my opinion. It will pay for itself faster, and spending less time running sites is a security feature as well.

Things haven't changed *that* much for C2 site running. A drake fit from 2011 should still be pretty close to a drake fit for 2016.

Passive regen myrmidon was my first C2 site runner. Have to watch your drones pretty carefully, though. VNI should be about the same, just keep a sharp eye on your drones and recall them if they start getting shot.

Gila is a very good C2/C3 site runner. You can make it very non-cap-intensive if you put passive hardeners on it.

TBH, as other have said, yes...

Stick with the Gila, it works relly well at C2s. If safety is an issue thats boring you go hunting instead, or do something like RACE to see how many sites you can bang out with the Gila back to back really quickly or something... Will make more ISK that way and maybe it'll be less boring?? Sorry not trying to troll but i think that's the best answer(s). If you're drone-focused as you said you are prolly close to being able to fly a Rattlesnake and if 'Boring' is really the issue, I can pretty much guarantee you that moving up to a C3 and running sites in there with a Rattlesnake with Geckos out, it will be a lot less boring...

Just my 2pennys.

Otherwise, maybe cross train into an Amarr ship that's drone-friendly like a Prophecy? You can run C2s in one of those....

I dunno, but any time I hear 'Bored' and associate that with W-Space I think that means you need to move up the chain.

Gila works OK. I personally went drake, then rattlesnake/tengu as I moved to higher and higher class WHs. As others have said, consider how long it takes you to run the site. If you run it in 5 minutes in a Gila, but 10 minutes in something cheaper, that's an extra five minutes you are a target. I'm not saying to not try a cheaper ship, but there is a tradeoff if you spend more time in the site with that cheaper ship.
