Need Help : Moros VS Revelation

I'm getting into an armour cap but I can't decide between the Moros and the rev I've been stuck on my decision for about 2 days now . If someone could help me out by giving some info on why one is better than the other I'd be happy , thx.

From experience flying each dreadnought, I found that the Moros hit harder but the Revelation had a better tank. It has been a few months since I have flown either but unless CCP "improved" the ships, this should still be the case.

I want the rev to be good, and with Scorch XL, I'm pretty sure it has a niche where it shines.

The Moros will typically get called as primary first.
I'd fly the Rev for that reason, and.... the Rev is sexy...

The Revelation is hands down better, if you have T2 weapons. Scorch is just that much better than Null. Also, there is no finer looking ship than the Sarum Revelation.

With that said, all the Dreadnoughts are pretty decent, so you cannot really go wrong with any of them.

CCP should add more NPC 0.0 space to open it up and liven things up: the Stepping Stones project.

Rev has better tank and is much more flexible when it comes to engagement range because Scorch XL. Moros hits like a truck because Void XL.


However, currently the naglefar is the best dread. You can also armor tank it if you really, really need to be armor. Shield > Armor because of the ability to overheat invulnerability fields to get fucktons of extra tank.

Sanity is fun leaving the body.
