first week was absolutely boring I barely survived it

second week got my first set of implants and stepped into a wormhole
I made it out with 120 million without a cloaking device

the third week I lost my ship to NPCs and I had to blow myself up so I had to rebuy my ship and implants

in the last week of this month chose to pay for 3 more months and I bought 6 plex and I threw all the money into skills now I have access to Helios and Nemesis and I almost maxed out my missile skills

my goal for next month try to unlock another set of Tech 2 ships

what t2 ships should I go for next

Gila. And you dont even need to be perfectly skilled, youll do great just getting started with racial cruiser skills at 3.

It depends what you want to do. What aspects of the game are you interested in? Missiles and wormhole antics sounds like you enjoy running sites for ISK?

Nemesis? You probably already found the Bombers Bar.

Your post contains about as much information as this:

- First date, I'd already had lunch so I couldn't eat any of the food.
- Second date, the restaurant was very expensive and I had to remember that silverware rule: start with the outermost, work your way in.
- Third date, there must have been something in the food because I vomited it all out when I got home.

- Now we've decided to go steady, bf/gf, and I want to invite him to a restaurant for a change. What kind of food do you guys think he'll like? What kind of food do you think I'll like?

1) Use the Gila ship for general stuff. Missions, DED Combat Sites.
2) Use Nemesis for some fun bomber PVP. Consider joining up with Bombers Bar, Wingspan Delivery Service, or others for the use of your bomber.
3) Skill up to say...Rattlesnake for some more Wormhole fun. Join a wormhole corp.

Just my thoughts.

Cruisers, the workhorses of small gang PvP.
Though I admit the t3 and command destroyers are pretty good fun.
I'd recommend the Amarr or Gallente one's, they make me happy.

Well, a cov ops ship, or a S.O.E. ship, anything cloaky is what I love, you would be surprised how much being hidden only a few km from others can net you in intelligence.

Advanced transport ships, again cloaky and you can haul bigger things that we all haul at some point, also the DST (deep space transport), while not fully cloaky (cov ops), you get a fleet hanger which means you can put most frigate bodies in there if you want to move a ship but need to haul other things that won't fit in a frigate hold.

Believe it or not, a T-1 wreathe with T-2 mods in the low for aligning, my goodness, fast as hell for a transport ship, almost as fast as a frigate for getting into warp.

I jump around new Eden a lot, I will tell you this, there are people who sit ALL day long camping in a cheap frigate (and capsules), seeing, watching, scanning the in's and out's of who is coming and going, moving what, etc, that's all they do from the time eve comes online till long into the night, I've been through the systems many times a day and there they are sitting, the next gate over to the next systems, Concord, someone got blapped by that while innocent looking person sitting at the gate is watching out for just those reasons, I'm not kidding, they camp the same gates all day long, it's not just Jita, they have alts for alts who take over when something spooks them to change toons.

Anyway that's my input.

I'm actually thinking about joining wingspan but I don't have the requirements yet according to their website to join

my experience with wormholes is not really the best it might not be good enough

his YouTube channel is what got me interested in the game watching all the shenanigans he went through

I highly recommend watching this whole entire playlist https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ktY-w7gGE6w&list=PLNIvv4lr2qF7BrNUPtDPZeoTz5Ol7jREP

is seriously Epic I thought I was watching a good TV series

Keep in mind that any pilot can train any skills, so they don't really need those specific ships that are listed as prerequisites on their website. Recruiting in EVE is a lot more about personality and attitude than about what capabilities your character has trained.

At least from your second post here, you're giving me the impression that you're a by the book person, and they're very tongue-in-cheek, judging by that website.

I'd say apply, and if they reject you specifically because of untrained skills you can always train those and re-apply. I don't think they'll reject you, though; I think they'll troll you hard.

I'm going to probably mess around with bombers bar as I was basically snubbed by wingspan

my application was accepted on their website join their recruitment Channel and I sat in that channel for 3 days and not even one time anybody tried talking with me in that channel

this'll probably be the last thing I'm going to say in this thread

thank you everybody for your ideas and opinions

one last question is there any other groups similar to bombers bar where I do not need to join a corporation the group up with people for fun

Sure, Spectre Fleet for NPSI* fleets around the clock (Dizzop and Pomagre are my favorite FCs). Redemption Road for Aussie time zone.

But have you tried to talk with them ? Have you said hello ? Have you introduced yourself ? Have you tried to poke one of them in a private conversation ?

This newbro will go far. Already taking risks, and rebounding from losses.

This is the new blood that Eve needs.

Welcome to your new crack addiction.

I might be taking risks but I haven't had any good opportunities so far so I need to change my game plan

I got lucky in that wormhole I haven't had any other luck like that when it came to making money so far

I have missed every Fleet opportunity for bombers bar eventually all get into one of them this is my second day hanging out in there so I haven't been there long enough

my biggest mistake was focusing on getting into wingspan that was my goal from the second week tell yesterday that's why I put so much money into missiles skills

like they say never throw all your eggs into one basket and that's what I did but I'm not giving up over it even though I'm slightly butthurt

I prefer to play the game from this point on not in a player corporation

I might join random groups to go around and have fun with people yeah they might stab me in the back but at least I'm not tied up

I like having the freedom I have right now for two reasons one it's easier to make money second I could do whatever I ******* want

Wish you success, I think you have the right attitude ... it's much easier today than 3.5 years ago when I started to stay corp-less without missing the group part, thanks to NPSI groups and other public fleet opportunities.

EDIT: ... be sure to question your decision and reasons from time to time. Don't be upset because of one negative experience. Do it for the right reasons. There are fantastic corps out there.
