You know that only makes sense if you're claiming credit for killing the last one, right? Honestly, Ronin, this whole routine where you respond to accurate statements with puffed-up chest and bluster doesn't help you. Not one little bit.

That only makes sense to a senseless troll. You are dismissed, get a life.

I read the report of Sanmatar traveling to Amarr Prime and now all I can imagine is the worst possible scenarios of the heads of state of the Amarr Empire and Minmatar Republic both being dead by the end of the day. That is how little faith I have in the galaxy as a whole these days.

My mind flashed on the same thought when I first heard about it. I think after what's already happened, it would be impossible for it not to cross one's mind.

Ronin, on behalf of the Minmatar Republic please disengage this conversation before it spoils whatever positive image we have in the cluster. Please?

I wouldn't worry too much, he's doing a lot of broadcasting, but there don't seem to be a lot of serious listeners, unless their tuning in for high comedy.

Ronin look, we can all see that you like Arrendis, but you'd probably make a better impression without the troll routine. I don't think she's going for it.

It would appear that Former Ambassador Yun was indeed in attendance.

Can I just say it's nice to be pleasantly surprised? Because I have been.

Seems the Sanmatar did indeed turn out in traditional dress just as Felise described. And he did, in fact, exchange some pleasantries with our new Empress.

So, how about talking business?

*spit take*

They definitely kept that surprise under wraps, though I imagine for good reason. The media firestorm would have been uncontrollable had anyone known beforehand. It's a little odd because I had heard that the Tribal Council was looking to make Yun much less visible even within Republic diplomatic circles. Interesting.

Perhaps it is as Samira Of Clan Fjorkir says. The end of the Pendulum wars draws near?

He was given an invitation. He deserves all the hospitality that entails.

But maybe next time he should consider not springing these sorts of things on people. Then again, I suppose shock surprises have defined his reign.

Here, here. I'll raise a glass to that. It's like we say in my clan, 'Even dust storms eventually need a nap.'

This could be the beginning of new and exciting economic landscape, though I'll be waiting to hear more from the Sanmatar before getting too excited.

I was as surprised by the Sanmatar's clothing as anyone as that particular cousin is known to...exaggerate her insider knowledge, but I guess this time she was straight on. A day of surprises indeed.

It's been a banner day for diplomacy, hasn't it? Hopefully some substantive high level talks are in the offing. In any event, it's a good start.

"Can we stop shooting each other for a minute? I wanna finish my drink"

one can hope that the useless battle will end. I'm all for a good fight, and one for a cause is better, but chasing each other's tails with live ammo gets costly and pointless quick.
