Hello. Im living in C5 hole, and because im pretty new to eve i lack enough SP to run sites in there...
Relic/data sites looked pretty juicy isk-wise so i did some research on how to run them.
This is what ive found out:
There are 2 sites with "only" 3 battleship initial spawn, one site being relic and the other one data.
So next step was to find good ship to use there. Focused on speed/sig i chose Slasher.

I died 3 times before perfecting my fit and ive learned some valueable lessons, such as:

-neuts will suck me dry and make me unable to activate AB or Analyzers
At first i tried cap boosters, found out they're too slow. Then i tried NOS, which worked perfectly but sleepers were slowboating away from me, which was problematic as NOS has very limited range. The best solution was to use Cap Battery and cap regen rigs, almost quadroupling my cap regen. This was enough for AB and ocassional shield booster cycle.

-loot is pretty large, i had to dump it every 2-3 cans

- as they slowboat from me, they gain enough tracking to hit(or at least graze) me. This happens at 70km (with ****** orbits). I might be able counter this in future by lowering sig (evasion links, x-instinct)

I managed to fully clear 2 Forgotten Core Information Pens, netting 280m isk (which is worse than i tought)

So... i'd like to ask about payouts, as ~140m per site looks pretty bad considering its difficulty
And of course if anyone has tips/advices im open to improvement.

I'll add screenshots and exact fit when i return from work

It used to be worth the effort, now it pretty much isn't.

In a C5 huh, I'd go for some gas, its profitable as long as you don't get killed by WH folk, rats don't show up right away.

It sounds like you're pretty new? The fact you made it this far is super impressive, living in a C5 self-sufficiently is not easy work, nice one!

I'm surprised you're so surprised about the payout.. 140 Million ISK for doing 1 of anything in EVE is QUITE a lot of ISK, how long did the site take you? I can't imagine any more than 40 minutes, which turns out to actually be a substantial ISK/hr return, especially for flying a frigate!! Yes, it is a lot of effort, but really I think you should be super happy with that kind of payout considering your Skill Points and initial investment (a fully fit T1 frig).

Im playing eve for 2 months max, and im not living in WH on my own. Im living in our corp's citadel... however, if i had to chose wh i'd find myself C3 with NS static.

It takes 25 to 30 minutes to run the site, however there are problems such as aviability of sites, scanning and hauling loot which make it less appealing from ISK/h standpoint. I might be too spoiled tho. Im normally running NS exploration sites for 150-250m/h pretty succesfully, which made me enough ISK to heavily boost my SP via injectors, so im sitting with 12m SP atm.

And i was surprised about low payouts because i ran some C1 sites in my trusty Astero and ISK there was pretty impressive, but it included salvage as well so that might be it...

Yea the corp helps, hopefully :D Train for a noctis and salvage their Sleeper sites, get them to cut you a piece a C5 should be pretty nice ISK.

Good point about the scanning, it can take up large amounts of time, get the corp to pay you to scout their connections? :P

Promised screenshots and fit:

Hacking Unsecured Frontier Enclave Relay. Despite being C5 site, loot is major horseshiet, datacores from this one didn't even cover fully fitted Slasher.

Loot from ~5 cans from Forgotten Core Information Pen. Note that relic loot is quite large, requires to drop loot every 2 or 3 cans.

Fit:
[Slasher, Slasher]
Nanofiber Internal Structure II
Nanofiber Internal Structure II

Small Cap Battery II
Relic Analyzer II
Small Clarity Ward Booster I
1MN Monopropellant Enduring Afterburner

Small Capacitor Control Circuit I
Small Capacitor Control Circuit II
Small Capacitor Control Circuit II

It should work very well even with meta Cap Battery and T1 rigs, the extra regen from them is not necessary

On my last two runs I made more ISK from lost drones then from explorer sites.. just saying.
